Hi everyone, This is my first blog, after working out my BMI and the nearly falling backwards on the floor I thought it was about time that I did something about it instead of accepting everything the way it is! I have gained 2 stone in a year after I got married and I am only 27 and 5ft 1in so weight gain of that amount is not good at all!! I had been an avid gym goer so I thought now is the time to get off the couch and get my body moving. I lost a lot of confidence as a gained weight and felt paranoid that people were watching and talking about my weight but I knew it wasnt what other people thought that bothered me it was what I thought of my self! WASHINGTON, September 27, 2011 – The Austen BioInnovation Institute in Akron (ABIA), its founding members and several community partners are the recipients of a national $500,000 award to fund the Accountable Care Community (ACC) initiative, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced today. ACC is a collective effort aiming to create a healthier community and lessen the burden of disease in the Akron region. The funding is part of a multimillion dollar CDC Community Transformation Program that supports public health efforts to reduce chronic diseases, promote healthier lifestyles, reduce health disparities, and control health care spending.

Olivia Munn recently revealed that she wants a big family and wants to adopt as well.

She told FOX, “Ive always wanted to have a big family and Ive always wanted to adopt. Coming from a family of five, I think five is a good number. Researchers at Children’s National Medical Center have found that a cholesterol-lowering statin drug appears to be safe in children with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and may improve learning disabilities, including verbal and nonverbal memory. This is the first time that the drug lovastatin has been studied in children with NF1. The study, led by Maria T. Acosta, MD, a pediatric neurologist and researcher at Children’s National and clinical director and cognitive director of the Gilbert Family Neurofibromatosis Institute, appears in the October 2011 issue of .

Lovastatin is currently approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in adults and children for the treatment of high cholesterol.
